I am the Sound Designer & Video Designer for The Wayward Artist's production of The Nether by Jennifer Haley.

The Nether is a virtual wonderland that provides total sensory immersion. Just log in, choose an identity and indulge your every desire. But when a young detective uncovers a disturbing brand of sexual entertainment, she triggers an interrogation into the darkest corners of the imagination. Winner of the 2012 Susan Smith Blackburn Prize, The Nether is both a serpentine crime drama and haunting sci-fi thriller that explores the consequences of living out our private dreams.

Striking 12

November 26th to December 23rd - Showings at 8pm, 7:30pm, & 3:00pm

Tickets available here: www.chancetheater.com/striking12. Use code: "CHAMPAGNE" for 25% off (except for opening).

I am the Assistant Sound Designer & Audio Engineer for Chance Theater's production of Striking 12 by Brendan Milburn, Rachel Sheinkin, and Valerie Vigoda.

Striking 12 is a unique hybrid of riveting musical theater and an electrifying pop-rock concert. It tells the story of a grumpy, overworked New Yorker who has resolved to spend New Year’s Eve alone when an incandescent figure arrives at their door with the promise to chase away the winter doldrums. Striking 12 is a festive tale filled with wit, emotion, and musicianship, creating an anti-holiday musical celebration about rediscovering and reconnecting to the true spirit of the season. The New York Times called it “a cross between a rock concert and a holiday show for people who don’t like holiday shows.”

Weekly 1-on-1 sessions were held between each mentor and mentee during the program, leading to the final project submissions and closing event selection. I applied for the mentorship program in September, interviewed, and was accepted into the Production Track.

I then showed the main "concert," a virtual 2D simulated live concert, which I had designed and recorded for the live stream.
